Our visit to the charming village of Porto Da Cruz with our children was simply unforgettable. The breathtaking view of the ocean and sunrise from our room was a true highlight. The clean and cozy accommodations provided a comfortable base for our family. We felt safe throughout our stay, and the walking distance to the waterfront, seafood restaurants, and cafes made exploring the area convenient. A special mention goes to Abel, the owner, and his wife Igrelena, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even gave us rides and fresh flowers to brighten our days. We can't wait to return and enjoy Abel's famous Poncha and firewater once again!
For dads, it would be great if the kitchen could be stocked with some basic supplies like olive oil for meal preparation.

I absolutely loved the charming and cozy decoration of the hotel. The beautiful garden and the small banana plantation added a lovely touch to the overall ambiance. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible with no stairs or obstacles that could hinder my movement. It was a delight to explore the grounds and enjoy my meals in such a serene environment.
I would have appreciated if the children working there had offered some assistance or guidance specifically tailored for senior guests.

The house had amazing ocean and mountain views, with the sound of the waves and a lovely patio overlooking the garden with banana trees. The apartment was clean and had all necessary amenities, with a kind and helpful owner. The location was convenient, being near the village center, the ocean, and various amenities like cafes, shops.
Not obvious to find.

Our stay at the accommodation in Porto Da Cruz was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the sea, mountains, and beautiful gardens. The apartment itself was cozy and charming. But the real highlight for us was the furnished patio, where we enjoyed our meals al fresco. It felt like dining in a luxurious seaside restaurant, but with the added comfort and privacy of our own space. We couldn't get enough of the fresh ocean breeze and the stunning surroundings.
Church bell rings frequently.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely villa with a perfect location. The terrace had amazing views and the room had a good kitchen and a spacious bathroom. The host was very friendly and helpful, even arranging for their son to pick us up from the airport. It was a great start to our trip and we highly recommend Quinta Da Vila for a relaxing stay.

The general areas of the hotel were beautifully maintained and created a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with easy access to the rooms and common areas. It made my stay comfortable and stress-free.
One thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be a bit more attentive. While the overall service was satisfactory, a little more attention and assistance from the staff would have been appreciated.

The mattress in the room was quite hard, which made it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep.
